show avatars in message/thread list on the board page

Hi,

 

I am pretty sure most of the lithosphere components use the out-of-box lithium component.

 

This board page is interesting.

http://lithosphere.lithium.com/t5/developers-discussion/bd-p/studio

It shows avatars in the message list and uses css to resize the avatar. If I view source, I can see the avatars printed on the html output. So it is done by server side coding.

 

Out-of-box message lists don't have avatars enabled. Is this something we can tick in admin settings or studio. Or this requires lithium service to put it in?

    Hi Peter,

     

    out-of-box lithium message listing doesn't have avatar. 

     

    for what you see from http://lithosphere.lithium.com/t5/developers-discussion/bd-p/studio, that is a customization from the backend, a combination of a grid layout xml configuration and custom components.

     

    grid is not currently exposed via studio, you may have to contact our Professional Services team if you want to use something similar in your community.
