When you make a change in Studio to a file that exists in SDK, the changes you make are the changes that are used (they "override" the SDK version).
If somewhere down the line a developer comes along and decides they want to use the SDK again, they can fetch all the changes you made in Studio and copy them back into the SDK.
So in short, making changes in Studio is perfectly safe and you won't create any headaches for anyone.

I would also add that sometimes, it's even more fun to take the 'Surprise & Delight' route, rather than just strategic. A few moons back, the community I was managing had a user hit 40k posts (yup, I kid you not) and we sent him the most expensive bottle of Canadian Maple Syrup we could find (we based in Canada, he was in Alabama) and he absolutely loved it because it was such an unexpected gift for his milestone, but thoughtful as well.ViewsSign in to react to this postComments
