Is there an easy way to find out if the community is using SendGrid? If you use email notifications OOB, then what would you be using? Re: Atlas Redesign Project Story Very nice to hear the story. Thanks for sharing and I really think the new design and features are an improvement. Well done. Re: How We Built It: Author Badges We already have it on the HP Support communities and I must admit, we looked at Khoros (and other channels) and leveraged the idea😃 Re: Updates to Atlas Aug-Sep 2020 Keep up the good work!!😁 Re: August's Atlas Highlights It takes a village. Congratulations everyone! Re: Sub Menus ParshantI think you might be able to helpadriana4u? Re: Any other Stars notice a metric drop starting in May? We did notice this actuallyCyJervis! My colleague Chao who keeps an eye out on Google Search analytics noticed a similar drop in May as well. He found this had to do with Google's core update as well. Copy/paste from his findings here below ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is an article Google’s May 2020 Core Update: The Winners and Losers in semrush.com. They also see that Online community is the category which has been negative impacted by Google’s May 2020 Core Update. Here is a breakdown of the industries that saw the most significant drop in their organic positions. In a nutshell, Google’s mantra has always been that there is not much you can do about an algorithm update and changes in rankings, except to keep improving your content quality. Google stated about core updates, "They’re designed to ensure that overall, we’re delivering on our mission to present relevant and authoritative content to searchers." Google said “the update will typically take about one to two weeks to fully roll out”. I will continue to monitor the traffic trending. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think there is an opportunity here also for Khoros to pro-actively sharing some/this type of information. There may be many community managers who may not even realize their traffic may be heavily impacted by such a thing as a Google Search Update. I can imagine CM's noticing a drop in metrics and not knowing how to explain it. Perhaps they all reach out to their success manager when this is a pretty straight forward thing that spans across probably many communities. I am sure there is an SEO expert in Khoros that could flag this in the community? Thanks for sharing hereCyJervis Cheers! Wendy Re: "Needs Info" for 6.5 years oOThanks Philippe. Appreciate your candid response. I realize managing Ideation is easier said than done sometimes but I also think asking for feedback sets an expectation and without any insights or transparency on what is happening it might rub the wrong way. Anyhow, it is good to hear it is being looked at. Cheers Wendy Re: "Needs Info" for 6.5 years oO Ideation #fail🙄 I think Khoros has an opportunity to improve the ideation process. It's never been running very smoothly. I recall a few years ago they started to breathe new life into it by communicating the new statusses and processes? Perhaps integrate Ideation with an Agile process/Jira/Trello to kickstart and powerup a bit. Someone was asking for in the community board and I agree there is a current gap between ideation and casting a wide public net and then enabling internal teams to work on ideas. Insided apparantly has such an integration. I think it could be powerful where Ideation can be managed and tracked better. We are not using Ideas ourselves simply because of the belief that if you ask for ideas and feedback you have a commitment to manage and prioritize and communicate back and provides regular updates.
