Handlebars Context Objects
Hi all, Just trying to see if anyone else has hit this or if its 'my head is mince syndrome'. I am trying to create a social sharing component but when is use {{page.url}} I am only getting the base url for the community. What I really want is the current page URL. I have tried every which way of the page. Context object but can't get it to spit out the current page URL.26Views0likes4Comments24.10 API change breaks navigation
Staging instances of two three communities I work with got upgraded to 24.10 and for both all the Khoros supplied theme-lib.community-header-navigation broke as a result with the error: Freemarker template 'theme-lib.community-header-navigation' processing failed: InvalidReferenceException:The following has evaluated to null or missing: ==> restBuilder().method("POST").path("/search").body(liql_query).call().data.items [in template "theme-lib.community-header-navigation" at line 188, column 62] I haven't done any in-depth investigation or how to come up with a fix. On quick glance neither the Communities Classic v24.09 Release Notes nor Classic Communities: 24.10 Release Notes do contain any suspicious change. Just wanted to share so you folks got a starting point.50Views2likes1CommentKhoros Communities Aurora 24.11 Release Notes

You can enable community guidelines for your community to ensure your members know what is expected of them in the community. These can be linked to an external URL or built within your Aurora community itself. You can designate your guidelines as required reading for registration or just provide a link on the registration window for new members. Depending on what you’re going for, building your guidelines within Aurora creates a seamless experience with consistent branding, while linking to an external URL enables you to use one central location where your document lives so you don’t have to update it in multiple places. For localized communities, you can provide guidelines in all your available community languages to ensure that all members of your community are aligned on expectations regardless of language. Provide link to guidelines on registration window Open the Account menu and select Settings. Go to System > Account > Registration. To add your guidelines to the registration window, turn on the Add community guidelines link to registration page toggle. To designate whether you want to host the guidelines on your community or link to an existing page, select Edit, and then select Community or External. Set up guidelines on your community Whether your members reach your community guidelines from the registration window or elsewhere in your community, you can edit them from right within your community to ensure a seamless experience. After selecting Community, select Save. Select View/Edit Community Guidelines. On the Community Guidelines page that opens, select Edit Community Guidelines. Select a language from the drop-down menu. Select Continue. Enter your community guidelines. Repeat for your other community languages. If the default language’s URL is also missing, members are redirected to the community-based guidelines page. When you archive content, you can provide a permanent redirect link to related content within the community or an external page. Members who attempt to access archived content (via permalink) see a notification indicating that the content has been archived and redirected to relevant information. Though this is optional, it is best practice to provide a related link to relevant content while archiving. For instance, if a Google search result suggests a piece of content that was archived in your community and members select that link, they are automatically redirected to the related content in your community. As the redirection occurs for several members, the Google crawlers understand that the old link is replaced and boost up the new link's ranking instead of the old link. If you didn’t do this when you archived the article, you can opt to add it later from the Archives page. Add a URL to related content Sign in to the community Select Archives on the Manage Content dashboard. Select the Options (...) menu and select Add Link to Related Content. A window to enter the URL opens. Enter a link to the relevant content in your community. Select Add. The entered link is added. After an article is archived: Members who are not admins or moderators are redirected to the page that was added as related content. If no redirect URL is provided, they land on an empty page as shown below. Community admins and moderators land on the original page and see a notification that the page was archived. A link to the related article is provided. Furthermore, you can edit the added link from the archived page by opening the Settings menu and selecting Edit Link to Related Content. Add a URL to an external page You can also redirect members to external pages outside the community. To achieve this, toggle on External URLs under Settings > Features > Moderation > Content Archive.11Views0likes0Comments
