Cant differentiate between Answer and Comment to Question

Hi,

Here is the summary:

Question an Answer Thread: The Question has one answer and one comment. As far as I can see it, there is no way of finding out which one is the comment and which one is the answer via the api. The responses look very much alike...

Does anybody have a workaround for this issue?
