About the Aurora member Profile page

The Profile page is where you can view your personal information for your community account, such as your username and rank, as well as your latest activity and groups you belong to.

View and edit your profile

To view your own profile, open the Account menu, and then click Profile.

 

To edit your profile:

  1. Open the profile menu and then click My Settings.
  2. On the Personal tab, enter any information about yourself that you want to share with others in the community, such as your name, pronouns, and bio information.

  3. If desired, you can edit your Username and Email using the Edit buttons.
  4. Click Save.

Verify your email address

After you sign up for the community, you receive an email asking you to verify your email address. Log in to your email account, locate the email from the community, and click the link to verify your email address.

If you haven’t received an email or can’t find it, go to Settings > Personal, and at the top of the page, click Resend Verification Email.

Update your email address

  1. Open the Account menu and then click Settings.
  2. On the Personal tab, click the Edit button beside your Email address.
  3. Enter the New Email address you would like to use as well as your Current Password.

  4. Click Save.

Update your avatar

  1. Open the Account menu, and then click Settings.
  2. On the Personal tab, click the edit icon located on your current avatar.
  3. On the Edit Avatar window, click the plus icon to open your file browser where you can select a new avatar, OR in the Select an avatar area, select one of the default avatar options provided.
  4. (Optional) If you’ve uploaded your own avatar, adjust the zoom level using the sliders.
  5. Click Set As Avatar.

  • Why is none of the information you enter in your profile edit page shown on your actual profile i.e. you bio, is it a setting I need to change

    Hi Allen! What are you trying to add that is not showing up? I see your bio is currently "My Bio" 

  • On both my community and the Khoros community, if I (as a non-admin) go and look at another users profile who has a Bio set in their profile page .. I can't see it.

    I can see it in my community when I view their profile as an Admin 

    I don't know if you have a Bio set, but I can't see any Bio for you:

    Interesting catch - looking into this further :) will provide an update when i have one!
