[Recap] Khoros Communities Spring Product Update
Review the recent product update webinar to learn about key releases from the past year, in-progress initiatives, and a teaser of strategic concepts we’re investing in.

Launching on Khoros Communities session #4: Launching best practices | Instructor-led training
Take a deeper dive into best practices around promoting your community, creating your community guidelines, and other general best practices to consider when migrating or upgrading your community.

Value Analytics Surveys for Khoros Communities Aurora
We’ve heard your feedback and are excited to reintroduce a familiar Khoros Communities feature from Classic into Aurora: Community Experience Surveys (formerly Value Analytics).

This update brings back the ability to collect structured feedback from your community members so you can better understand how they’re experiencing your space.

Calendar Invitation Email on Event Confirmation for Khoros Communities Aurora
Previously, members had to manually add the ICS file to their calendars.

With this release, when you select Attending or Interested for an event, a calendar invitation is automatically added to the calendar associated with your registered email address.

Move and merge content across content types  for Khoros Communities Aurora
There’s often duplicate content or evolving conversations in the community that may be better suited to a different content type or format. To help manage this, we’re introducing the ability to merge root posts and move content across content types like Blogs, KB articles, Events, Ideas, and Discussions.

Automatic spam detection for images for Khoros Communities Aurora
Starting this release, all images, along with the text content, will be scanned for automatic spam detection.

Care

Meta Threads is now available within Khoros Care
Khoros is pleased to announce that Meta Threads is now supported as an integrated channel within Khoros Care.

The integration allows brands to respond and engage with their followers on brand posts, allowing them to provide top-notch social care and advocacy at scale.

Apple App Store integration Individual Keys for Khoros Care
In Khoros Care v24.11.1, we introduced the ability to integrate your Care instance with the new Apple App Store integration. At the time, this required the use of the Key ID located under the Team Keys.

As of this release, you can now use Individual API Keys for this integration, which is useful for brands that do not want to use Team Keys due to internal preferences.

LinkedIn DM Support in Automation Framework
You can now create bots that leverage LinkedIn's direct messaging. This feature has channel-specific limitations.

While Care supports ingesting images, videos, documents, GIFs, and text, the API for LinkedIn's direct messages includes support only for text and emojis (8000 characters per message) sent by agents.

Allowlist requirements for UI connection issues for Khoros Care
For customers using a firewall who are not able to connect to the Care UI, ensure the following URLs are in your allowlist:

Refer to Configure your firewall to work with Khoros Care to view a list of other URLs necessary to add to your allowlist.

Instagram private message text & media handling
Because responses to Instagram private messages can contain only text or media, Care now makes it much clearer that you cannot send both at the same time.

When you enter text and attach an image when responding to a private message, the Message [user] button becomes grayed out. Additionally, if you hover your cursor over the button, a message lets you know that you can send only text or media but not both.

Marketing

Instagram Metrics Update: Views Mapped to Impressions for Khoros Marketing
To align with Meta’s recent deprecation of certain Instagram metrics, we’ve updated how views are reported across Instagram post types.

Views now map to “Impressions” metric across all Instagram content types—Posts, Reels, and Stories—for consistency across social networks. For Instagram, "Views" and "Impressions" now refer to the same underlying metric - “Total number of times your app user's Instagram Media object has been seen.”

Flow

Deprecated Channels Removed from UI for Khoros Flow
The following deprecated channels with no activity are no longer shown in the UI: Apple, Front, MessageMedia, Mavenir, Rocket Chat, Telekom RBM, Kik, Viber, Google Business Messages, Twilio, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp.

This cleanup helps reduce clutter and prevent confusion from unsupported options. Users now see only active, supported channels when integrating Flow projects.

However, users can still add these channels to their projects from the Khoros Care integration.
