Applying two skins on same node

Question

Hi,&nbsp;We have 2 skins in our community applied&nbsp;category level. We have a use case where we need to create a board node but skin that should be applied to that node should be dynamic. Meaning if user comes to this node from skin 1 then skin 1 should be applied and if user comes from skin 2 then skin 2 should be applied. Is this possible currently.&nbsp;Another way could be that we have two different node which have different skin applied to them but have data synced. Have anyone came across any such use case.&nbsp;Thanks,Sachin&nbsp;

not ideal, but you can set the skin (overriding what is set in the admin for that node) as part of the page initialization logic (http://community.lithium.com/t5/Developers-Knowledge-Base/Using-a-FreeMarker-Page-Initialization-Script/ta-p/125767).

Not sure I fully understand the logic you want to have, but you may need to store the name of the "current" skin in the session and use it to know which skin you want to apply based on that...
