Information on Integrating community features of Lithium with our Site

Can someone provide the details on how to integrate the community features of Lithium with our HTML site ?

It really depends what you want to display, and how much effort you want to put into it!

I can think of three ways to do it:

    1- iFrame

    2- ActiveCast

    3- Rest API (v1 and/or v2)

We would like to integrate polls, ratings into our web sites. So with iFrames / Active Cast, it is possible to have them as UI widgets in our pages directly?

And also for the design time for these polls, would it have to be done in Lithium?

Another question, can Q&A, Comments, Kudos be attached to external URL's?

vidyamani - Yes, you can use active cast for polls. See the screenshot below for the available items you can use in ActiveCast.

You can handle the design on your website because that is where your actual content would be rendering. I havent tried it yet but I am certain about that.

Could you elaborate your concern about external URLs?

        Hi,

what I suggest in these cases is to create a group of features in order of priority and then start figuring out what are the most important ones. Then you can focus on these first and start understanding what are the different possibilities as the others have already mentioned above.

        Regards,
