When clicking "Reply", the text editor takes a couple seconds to load. Is there a way to somehow pre-load the module to speed things up?Solved232Views

Hi keithkelly, yes with a minor JS customization.
When the page is finished loading in the browser, a line of code can automatically click the fake input field to expose the editor.
However, there may be unintended negative consequences, the cursor can focus on the editor and the browser scrolls down to it.Sign in to react to this post

These 2 areas, configuration and tips-tricks seem to be allowed to only special members, like mods, employees, i.e. with special rank.
Also, you need to add attempt recover blocks other wise your code could break any time
Ref: http://freemarker.org/docs/ref_directive_attempt.html
you need to check the access to these 2 calls

This might not be what you're going for, but we did a board-level search component that when executed will take the user to the search interface. The results are specific to the board from which they searched (plus its TKB). Here is the code:
<div class="lia-panel lia-panel-standard hp-three-column custom-search-widget"> <div class="lia-decoration-border"> <div class="lia-decoration-border-top"> <div> </div> </div> <div class="lia-decoration-border-content"> <div> <div class="lia-panel-heading-bar-wrapper"> <div class="lia-panel-heading-bar"> <span class="lia-panel-heading-bar-title">${text.format("custom.search.title")}</span> </div> </div> <div class="lia-panel-content-wrapper"> <div class="lia-panel-content"> <form class="lia-form-all-words-input lia-form-type-text lia-form-input-vertical" id="search_monger_form" method="GET" action="/t5/forums/searchpage/tab/message"> <input type="hidden" id="search_monger_filter" name="filter" value="location" /> <input type="hidden" id="search_monger_location" name="location" value="Board:${coreNode.id}" /> <input style="margin: 0px 5px 0px 5px;" type="text" class="lia-form-type-text search-input lia-search-input-message" name="q" id="search_monger_q" value=""><br/> <input style="margin: 5px 0px 0px 5px;" type="submit" class="lia-button lia-button-secondary lia-button-searchForm-action" id="search_monger_submit" name="search_submit" value="Search" /> </form> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div class="lia-decoration-border-bottom"> <div> </div> </div> </div> </div>Sign in to react to this post

Hi dhiraj_gophane,
This checkbox is used for the purpose of subscription notifications. As users have the ability to receive updates when an article is modified, it is a good practice for minor edits (such as typos or grammar corrections) to use this checkbox. This way, depending on user settings, they will not be overloaded with notifications on minor corrections to the article.
Under My Settings > Subscriptions & Bookmarks, you'll find a set of notification policies for published and draft articles. Within those choices, you're able to choose "Skip minor edits". This will only send notifications to the user when that box is not checked upon saving the draft or publishing the article.
