Getting Started with Aurora Widgets
Widgets enable you to add specific components, such as a list of top contributors or featured content, to the sections you add to a page template. Aurora provides many out-of-the-box widgets that you can use when designing your site.
Widgets are typically sorted into Content, People, and Places categories, with the exception of the Text/HTML widget. Not all widgets can be added to all page templates; some may be available only on the Group Dashboard page template, like the Members widget, for example. For details about each widget and what it supports, refer to the article for that widget.
Many of the widgets have similar layout and configuration options. For instance, all widgets enable you to rename them to fit the needs of your community. Read each widget’s article to learn more about specific options.
