Enhancements
Report inappropriate content for events
In the 23.12 release, we had introduced the report inappropriate content feature to ensure compliance with the Digital Services Act (DSA). Members could report community posts (including comments and replies), Private Messages, and Member Profiles.
With this release, members can report community events and comments to the events.
As with reporting other content, when members Report Inappropriate Content for events, a reporting page appears where they can choose the specific reason for reporting the content.
The moderator is notified with a report that is created in the Abuse board. This report is configured under Admin > Mod tools > Abuse Notification > Settings > Board ID for abuse reports.
When you report a post/user anonymously (without signing in), you'll be prompted to enter your Name and Email address. This feature comes with a reCAPTCHA protection.
Note: Enable Require verification for anonymous users under Admin > SYSTEM > Authentication. Also provide the Site key and Secret key to invoke Google’s reCAPTCHA services in your community.
If it's a registered email ID, you'll be asked to sign in before reporting; if not, you can proceed with reporting the content anonymously.
Note:
- To enable the Report Inappropriate feature, contact Support.
- To report inappropriate content for Events, you must upgrade Events version to v1.3.

Publish Events with Authenticated Webinars
Previously, members could not host Community events via authenticated Zoom webinars. Now, you can successfully create and publish an event with a webinar that requires Zoom authentication for members to join
Featured Guest Limits for Events
Previously, Event creators could add a maximum of 5 Featured Guests for an event. With this release, the limit has been increased to 10 (default), and the value is configurable. To change this limit, Contact Khoros Support.
You Found it! We Fixed it!
- We've resolved the issue where the Managed Tag page displayed random messages instead of those associated with the selected tag.
- Many communities reported an unexpected increase in kudos and solutions counts, which was attributed to auto-clicking of the Kudos and Solutions links in email templates by certain clients or user-installed tools. To address this, we've disabled these links by default. If you want to re-enable them, Contact Khoros Support.
- We've fixed the issue where if members have chosen the option Keep me signed in, their sessions were invalidated after password changes.
- After migrating to Communities v24.2, Events metrics weren't calculated or being displayed in Community Analytics for dates thereafter. We've resolved this issue, and now Events metrics are available for communities on version 24.2.
