Current Status: This feature is currently in development will be available to all customers on November 8th, 2021. Existing setup: The deauthentication email notifications are sent out to customers when an account gets deauthenticated on our platform. The user/customer is expected to re-authenticate the account as soon as possible so as to minimise the loss of data. Currently when an account is deauthenticated on our platform, the deauthentication email notification is sent out to only the company owner. We have identified the below problems with our existing setup: Each social account deauthentication triggers an email notification to the company owner and hence in cases where multiple accounts get deauthenticated around the same time, the company owner receives a large number of emails. The sole responsibility of reauthenticating these accounts lies with the company owner. The company owner will have to either re-authenticate the account himself/herself or will have to look for the individuals who have authenticated these accounts in the past and collaborate with them If the company owner misses the email, it might be difficult for him/her to keep track of it and it might further delay the re-authentication time and result in lapse in data ingestion into our platform How are we addressing the above stated problems? Going forward, social account deauthentication email notifications will be sent to respective users who have re-authenticated the account in the past 180 days. If the user who has authenticated the account in the past 180 days is deleted from the platform, the deauthentication email notification will be sent to the company owner A single aggregated email will be sent to the company owner every Monday at 9 am CST. This email will contain a list of all social accounts that were de-authenticated over the last 180 days and still remain deauthenticated, along with email IDs of users who are responsible for re-authenticating the accounts. We chose this 180-day limit, so that accounts that are not actively being used do not end up taking focus away from the more actively used accounts. If the number of such de-authenticated accounts is greater than 10, a link to a downloadable CSV file will be shared in the email to the company owner Limitations These changes are being made to only social accounts and not ad accounts.284ViewsSign in to react to this post1CommentSocial Marketing - Improved visibility for multi-video and mixed asset posts

To minimise publishing failures due to lack of pending approvals and help facilitate efficient and timely approvals, we’ve made changes to how, when and to whom we send the approval reminder emails In addition to the pending approval email that is sent as soon as a post is sent for approval, reminder emails will now be sent to each member of the assigned approval team starting 3 hours before a post is scheduled to be published. Approvers will continue to receive periodic reminders until the scheduled publishing time. The author of the post is copied on the first and final approval reminder. A confirmation email is sent to the author as soon as an approval is provided. If for any reason an approval is not provided before the scheduled time, an approver can still choose to provide the approval within one hour (grace period) after the post scheduled time. After the grace period, the post will fail to publish and post authors will need to initiate the approval process afresh For more information on approvals , please refer to Guide to approvals Prerequisites If you are expecting to receive an email or mobile push notification for post approvals, please follow the below steps 1.Email notifications - In your Marketing user profile settings, ensure you enable the option to receive notification when there is new outgoing content waiting for your approval. 2.Mobile push notifications - In your Marketing user profile settings, ensure you enable the option to receive push notification when there is new outgoing content waiting for your approval. points to Note: The reminder emails will not be sent if the post is already approved Incase the author does not want to receive any approval related emails including confirmation email, he/she can opt out of “Receive notification when there is new outgoing content waiting for your approval” in the notification settings section. Incase an approver does not want to receive the reminder notifications including the grace period notification, he/she can opt out of “Receive alerts for activity needing action within the next few hours” in the notification settings section150ViewsSign in to react to this post0CommentsSocial Marketing Calendar: Grouping of Multiple assets in stories
Current Setup: When a user uploads multiple images or videos as part of a single story on the instagram channel, each of these assets appear as individual stories on the calendar. For example, if a user publishes these 4 images as part of a single story, these 4 images are displayed as 4 individual stories on the calendar. Going forward, multiple assets uploaded as part of a story on the instagram channel will be displayed as a single story on the calendar. Users will be able to navigate across each of the media assets as part of single story in the calendar side-panel view. In addition to the above, the users will be able to view the metrics for the combined as well as individual assets in the story. Also, a new category “Story” will be introduced to identify and differentiate stories from other categories on the calendar Limitation: Only applicable for auto-imported instagram stories162ViewsSign in to react to this post0CommentsNow Available: Publish Multi-videos, Stories and Reels to Instagram Via Mobile Handoff

Once you have selected your videos, continue on to add filters, locations, and tag users, as desired. Publish a Multi-video post to Instagram via Mobile Handoff Select ‘Feed’ from the Placement dropdown menu and create a post in the publishing window..Once you upload more than one video, you will be guided to the mobile handoff workflow. Navigate to the Instagram tab on the left side panel and choose the publisher.Users will be able to publish up to 10 videos with duration ranging between 3 to 60 seconds for each video. Schedule the post in the same manner you schedule any Instagram post that requires the mobile handoff workflow. Please ensure ordering, videos, video duration remains the same across both publishing window as well as instagram channel .This allows items scheduled via mobile hand-off which are later auto-imported to be matched and identified as the same piece of content in the calendar and analytics. 4. Guidelines for Matching When publishing to Instagram via mobile handoff from the Khoros platform, it’s important to keep consistent photo and video data during the mobile handoff. This includes: Post type (feed or story) Order and resolution Count of Photos / Video Length Length/characters of the text/description If any aspect of this data is skewed, posts/stories will be auto-imported as different posts, and the Khoros platform will flash a “Not-Matching” notification on the post, preventing analytics from being able to pull data. Note: Addition of filters will not have any impact on matching. Publishing currently does not support native Instagram creative tools on stories so these will cause a “not-matching” notification. Reels are currently only available via mobile, but they will always be "not matching" and as such won't be able to pull data for analytics. Because of API limitations, Reels published natively on instagram channel cannot be auto-imported onto Calendar. Users will be able to publish only images or videos as part of post/story. Scheduling posts with combination of images and videos is not yet supported. For more information about publishing to Instagram directly through the Social Marketing, see Publish directly to Instagram. Learn more about the publishing process using the Khoros mobile app and the native Instagram app.673ViewsSign in to react to this post3CommentsNow available: Publish multi-images directly to Instagram
