Easier ways to publish content from Madcap Flare
This is a feature request. I'm not sure where feature requests should go. An integration that enables Lithium to work with industry standard technical communication tools (such as Madcap Flare) would be ideal. Either that or information on your recommended ways of doing that would be good. I've yet to see any information about publishing content on Lithium from industry standard technical communication tools such as Madcap Flare.9.3KViews9likes11CommentsAdd Atlas to SSO making it easier to toggle between
Please find a way to add Atlas to the menu: Users should easily be able to toggle to and from Atlas. For example, if I'm in marketing, I want to go to the same menu to find Atlas as I would Care. Accessing and logging into Atlas right now does not make sense.216Views2likes1Comment"Latest post" link from board page
Not sure if I missed this already part of the redesign earlier or just a recent change: Where can I find a link on the forum board page to be taken directly to the latest reply in a topic? I can only click on the name of the latest reply's author and that's it. Previously i think the timestamp - e.g. "4 hours ago" or the "Latest post by" text would link to the message: It just saves a few seconds of scrolling each time. Am I the only one?3.6KViews3likes3CommentsSubmitting Support Cases - HTML error
You know what would be really cool? If I could submit a support case without getting the absolutely unhelpful "your post couldn't be submitted because of invalid html code" error. First - why is it I can't submit a post if I use bold, underline, or bullets? Totally ridiculous. Second - if you won't let me use any or one of the above, WHY IS IT IN THE TEXT EDITOR AS AN OPTION? Third - thanks for making me solve the mystery of whatever html code isn't accepted, instead of yielding an actually helpful error message. I totally have time in my day for this nonsense.12KViews16likes11CommentsHard to post on Lithium Community
I always have to search and search and search everytime I want to post on the Lithium community. As the platform owner, it would be nicer if you made it easier to find the NEW MESSAGE buttons instead of just having the search available, maybe it's just me... does anyone else find it hard to post? - Nik13KViews1like9CommentsCook Book / Code Exchange
Hey, Maybe im, not seeing it "sorry if this is the case" however do we have an area which is easily accessible, searchable and "simple" for people like me where we could code share for common custom components? I see time and time again members asking how you do X and Y and 99% of the time others have done the same with custom components. Would be great if we could have some sort of a cook book or code exchange where things like this could be hosted here allowing member's to copy/paste and have a dabble themselves in their own stage. For me, I tend to not have enough knowledge to do something from scratch but could pick and tweak existing stuff to work for my needs and something like "i feel" would help many. What do ya think?3.5KViews1like2CommentsLithium Training
Hey, I recently went through the Lithium training. I must compliment you all, the training was incredibly thorough and well put together. However, I did have one suggestion. I'll preface this by saying that this experience may have been a result of me going through the training before our community had been built, but it would have been great to have a testing environment to go and play around with some of the tools I learned about in the training to enhance my retention of the material. The videos were very clear and provided a thorough walkthrough of each action, but for those of us that learn by doing very little of the information was committed to memory. Thanks! Hi there, The descriptive text that appears when you hover over a badge on the community looks a little cramped. I'd recommend increasing the line-spacing (CSS line-height) slightly just to make this a little more legible as it looks a bit squashed. I played around here and set the following CSS: line-height: 120%; The before and after results are shown below: and with the change...4.3KViews3likes3Comments
