We want this to be the best community it can possibly be! So let us know what you think, or how we can help improve your experience on Atlas. Please be sure to follow the Idea submission guidelines.

You know what would be really cool? If I could submit a support case without getting the absolutely unhelpful "your post couldn't be submitted because of invalid html code" error. First - why is it I can't submit a post if I use bold, underline, or bullets? Totally ridiculous. Second - if you won't let me use any or one of the above, WHY IS IT IN THE TEXT EDITOR AS AN OPTION? Third - thanks for making me solve the mystery of whatever html code isn't accepted, instead of yielding an actually helpful error message. I totally have time in my day for this nonsense.

This is a feature request. I'm not sure where feature requests should go. An integration that enables Lithium to work with industry standard technical communication tools (such as Madcap Flare) would be ideal. Either that or information on your recommended ways of doing that would be good. I've yet to see any information about publishing content on Lithium from industry standard technical communication tools such as Madcap Flare.

Hi all! I see that Customer Meet-up's have gained popularity in Europe, and am wondering if there are plans to introduce a similar group/forum/area for customer's across regions in the US & Canada (@JulieHamel ) as well?  I am based out of the Denver region, and would love the opportunity to collaborate/network with other Lithium customers close by... even if its just a small group of passionate community pro's getting together for coffee every once in awhile 😉   With the lack of a full-out customer conference (Linc) in the US this year,  I bet more customers would be interested (and willing) to begin forming their own regional user groups.  I am in the process of exploring starting my own Community User Group for Denver/Boulder folks (whether that be through CMX, meet-up, or some other platform) and figured it was worth checking to see if this was something Lithium was already thinking about.  I would be happy to organize and host events at my office, as well (we currently host Agile and C++ meet-up's twice a month)!

As I sat in the developer track classes at LiNC I noticed a familiar expression of the faces of several others who sat around me: excitement and intrigue mixed with a strong look on confusion. Shiny new features... but how do I make it happen!? As one of those wearing that face, I think I know why. Some of us Lithium customers wear A LOT of hats. We're the community manager, moderator, graphic designer, trainer, developer, and many other things. We would love to be able to focus on just one of those things and be a total expert - but that wouldn't be possible. It leaves us an expert in some things, an intermediate in most, and a total newbie in some critical elements.   I think many of us can agree that Studio and all things coding tends to be the most difficult. As evident from the developer track and conversations with several Lithium developers, proficiency in Studio and necessary programming languages is a career all in it's own. I'm fairly sure I'm not the only Lithium customer who often finds themselves sifting through dozens and dozens of Developer Community posts trying to make sense of where this code goes, why, and exactly what am I reading. I'm probably also not the only one who has broken their community so badly in stage they held their breath until a rollback actual loaded correctly. I know we can post in the developer community, but I think we're reluctant to clutter that workspace with how-to questions.   So, I'd like to suggest an intermediate developer community of sorts. I'd love to see more articles aimed at folks who know how to make changes in Studio, but aren't sure how to work with intricate code; articles on how to make some easy refreshes to the appearance of your community (changing color, logos, headers); and intros to how to write Rest API for components. Can we make it happen?

Hi,   I got feedback/idea: You are writing message and during that time somebody writes new post to same thread --> you get notification that there is new message and you can read it or you can post without reading it.   This feature reduces double answers to same question (if people look at what new there is written) and so on.   Thanks!
Hello!   request to have the ability to add  time zones:   (My Settings > Preferences) there is no Saskatchewan time zone.   On a Windows system the option is UTC-6:00 Saskatchewan   Thank you! JenniferP
It would be nice to have a set of badges in the Lithium Community for Product Ideas.    Badges for: 1st Idea submitted Idea generator (10+ ideas) Accepted Idea Populare idea (100+ kudos) etc   Thanks! Susan

Hi there,    The descriptive text that appears when you hover over a badge on the community looks a little cramped. I'd recommend increasing the line-spacing (CSS line-height) slightly just to make this a little more legible as it looks a bit squashed.   I played around here and set the following CSS:   line-height: 120%;   The before and after results are shown below:   Badge Description Currently  and with the change...  Badge Description - line-height: 120%

Not sure if I missed this already part of the redesign earlier or just a recent change: Where can I find a link on the forum board page to be taken directly to the latest reply in a topic? I can only click on the name of the latest reply's author and that's it. Previously i think the timestamp - e.g. "4 hours ago" or the "Latest post by" text would link to the message:   It just saves a few seconds of scrolling each time. Am I the only one?
Hi     I could not find a 'case portal' label on the new idea post page. Please can you add one.   https://community.lithium.com/t5/forums/postpage/board-id/Lithium_Ideas   Thanks

Hey,   I recently went through the Lithium training. I must compliment you all, the training was incredibly thorough and well put together. However, I did have one suggestion. I'll preface this by saying that this experience may have been a result of me going through the training before our community had been built, but it would have been great to have a testing environment to go and play around with some of the tools I learned about in the training to enhance my retention of the material. The videos were very clear and provided a thorough walkthrough of each action, but for those of us that learn by doing very little of the information was committed to memory.   Thanks!    Graham
Hi! I noticed that there isnt a course about the component BLOG it self. There are many information about it but spraying. Could you please give us a Course online about BLOG? Or do a TKB about it?  Thanks for hear us! 😉

Hey,   Maybe im, not seeing it "sorry if this is the case" however do we have an area which is easily accessible, searchable and "simple" for people like me where we could code share for common custom components? I see time and time again members asking how you do X and Y and 99% of the time others have done the same with custom components.    Would be great if we could have some sort of a cook book or code exchange where things like this could be hosted here allowing member's to copy/paste and have a dabble themselves in their own stage.    For me, I tend to not have enough knowledge to do something from scratch but could pick and tweak existing stuff to work for my needs and something like "i feel" would help many.    What do ya think?

I always have to search and search and search everytime I want to post on the Lithium community.   As the platform owner, it would be nicer if you made it easier to find the NEW MESSAGE buttons instead of just having the search available, maybe it's just me... does anyone else find it hard to post?   - Nik

Why can't we have an "open" chat for everybody/people that is online in the community for better communication and faster response??

We have added different Idea statuses to our Idea exchanges outside the statuses that come OOB. When a new idea board is created in a hub, these statuses are not defaulted to that board and we have to add them manually. It would be great if the custom statuses we added were able to be defaulted to all new idea boards rather than rememebering or knowing to add them manually after the idea board is created.
