Disable Notifications for a Post

Is it possible to disable notifications for a particular thread/post for all users?

For example, If I want to respond to a post and do not want any users to receive the notification of the response that is subscribed to the forum or thread?  

How can only the original poster receive the response notification?

Hi @jamiemccardle - I don't think that is possible unless you were to update individual user settings to unsubscribe from a topic.

The platform did just get a mute option, but that is dependent on the user selecting to mute the topic.

What is your use case for this? Would moving the conversation to a private message be doable?
